The
The Senior Content Editor is responsible for the technical creation and localisation of content within an agile content creation team. They will need to ensure that they understand how to build and edit content within the CMS system (Adobe Experience Manager) to a high standard creating and maintaining content by adapting a master blueprint to local standards.
They will need to be comfortable working in a team environment working in an agile methodology that also includes external clients. This means they should be clear communicators, understanding their area of responsibility and using this knowledge to add value to the process.
Alongside having this technical understanding and strong communication skills they should have an ability to accurately estimate and manage their part of projects to support the agile process as a whole.
The will be overseen by the agile Project Manager as well as a content operations manager in the wider content editing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a complete understanding of the CMS systems being used (Adobe Experience Manager) as well as the related components and publishing process’ if required.
- Create and build content within the above CMS systems following the correct process’ and to a high quality standard.
- Be a vocal voice in the agile process, voicing opinions, escalating challenges and being an expert in their area to add value.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders in the agile process to achieve the best possible project outcome.
- Accurately estimate their part of their process within the agile framework.
- Continue to learn and train on new additions/components to the CMS system.
- Understand local nuances overlaying those on top of the master blueprint to adapt as needed while also staying true to the original creative and business intent.
- If required support with the wider content editing team, being pro-active about time management and escalating when you have additional capacity to support the team.
Necessary Experience
- Experience working on Adobe Experience manager CMS systems is essential understanding how to both create and publish content
- Foundational understanding of Agile methodology
- History of working within a team environment and playing a vocal part in that, ideally with agency client experience where possible
- Shown an eye for detail and ability to accurately create and maintain digital content
- Experience working with local market nuances when related to digital content
- Demonstrated the ability to self-manage their own workload and accurately estimate projects
- Understanding of good practice digital design/UX is a plus
- Understanding of the automotive business landscape is desirable
