Role Overview
Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and drive excellence in supply chain operations? We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our Distribution Centre in Runnings Road (UK Supply). Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring our warehouse operations exceed customer expectations through strategic leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement. - Leadership & Collaboration : Aligning DC operations with organisational goals and working cross-functionally with Planning, GRB, and other departments.
- Culture Building : Fostering an engaged workforce that thrives on our values and continuous development.
- Health & Safety : Ensuring safe working practices, compliance, and proactive engagement with our Health and Safety team.
- Quality Assurance : Upholding high standards to prevent damage, disruption, or delays, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency : Driving throughput and continuous improvement to meet customer demand.
- Contingency Planning : Developing robust plans to maintain operations during external disruptions.
- Capability Development : Enhancing team skills and recruiting talent to strengthen our supply chain.
- Performance Management : Setting high standards and coaching the team to achieve excellence.
- Proven experience in logistics and inventory management, ideally within a distribution centre environment.
- Background in team leadership, performance management, and coaching.
- Experience in recruitment and retention of key talent.
- Familiarity with customer service strategies and sustainability initiatives.
- Exposure to civil aviation authority standards is a plus.
