Job Title: Cask Racking Operative
Location: Burton-On-Trent
Job Length: Full Time – Permanent
Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern of Mornings (6am-2pm) and Afternoons (2pm-10pm)

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Cask Racking Operative. Reporting to the Cask Racking Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Working to meet production targets whilst upholding high plant hygiene standards, and following health and safety rules.
- Using a keen eye for detail and following set methods to gather samples, and make daily quality checks, to ensure our products meet specifications.
- Filling in records and paperwork to tightly monitor products and machinery to keep track of potential production losses in OEE, utilities and product.
- Working with several types of machinery and promptly reporting any mechanical issues
- Always following manual handling safe practices and procedures.
- Following our 5S culture to do your part in our drive towards Excellence.
- Spotting, reporting, and removing hazards within the working environment to do your part towards the company’s Zero accidents Culture.
- Use of FLT'S within day-to-day production roles (Training can be provided).
- Previous experience in a production environment would be beneficial, but not a necessity.
- Understanding of production environment work practices and Health and Safety standards (LOTO, 5s, JT10, PMS)
- Taking pride in your work and the work of your Team.
- The ability to work under pressure and within set time constraints.
- The ability to work within a busy team or independently when required.
- The drive to look for ways to improve work practices, stay highly motivated and learn new skills.
