Job Opportunity: Project Coordinator – Feeding Derbyshire
Location: Matlock (with travel across Derbyshire)
Hours: Approx. 30 hours/week
Salary: £29,572 – £30,559 (pro rata, NJC Scale Point 16–18)
Contract: Until 31 March 2027 (subject to funding)
Are you passionate about tackling food poverty and supporting communities across Derbyshire? We're looking for a highly organised and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of Feeding Derbyshire, a county-wide programme focused on reducing food insecurity.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work closely with the Project Lead and Policy & Partnerships Manager to coordinate the day-to-day running of the programme. Responsibilities include organising network meetings, managing communications with over 100 food providers, updating our Food Provider Google Map, and administering our small grants scheme. You'll also work with key partners such as Derbyshire County Council, Fareshare, Feeding Britain, and local voluntary sector organisations.
You'll assist in maintaining website and social media content, support project monitoring and reporting, and help produce bulletins and guides for our network. Occasional travel and in-person events are part of the role.
