The Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to work with our clients' Technology Manager. In this role, you'll provide day-to-day technical support to staff while also contributing to innovative technology projects that benefit local businesses globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and systems issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, including manuals and user guides
  • Administer user accounts across Google Workspace, HubSpot, and WordPress
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as updates, backups, and antivirus scans
  • Support IT projects including software rollouts, system upgrades, and network improvements
  • Deliver staff training on IT procedures and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Ensure data integrity through regular maintenance, including data cleaning, validation, and organisation across systems

Essential:

  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and peripherals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer service-oriented mindset and eagerness to help others
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate within a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in a help desk or IT support role
  • Experience with Google Workspace and macOS operating systems
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools and ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
