The Opportunity:

We’re recruiting an Electrical/Instrumental Inspector to support the Liverpool Bay CCS Transport and Storage Project. You will verify installation and testing of LV, MV, and HV electrical equipment and instrumentation, ensuring full compliance with project and international standards, especially in hazardous areas. Your work will be key to maintaining safety and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect electrical equipment installation and testing, including motors, VSDs, transformers, generators, and switchboards

• Inspect instrumentation systems such as actuated valves and control units

• Verify compliance with IEC, ATEX, EN62208, ISO60079, and project specs

• Review FAT/SAT procedures, loop diagrams, and test documentation

• Ensure certification and traceability of components

• Monitor testing, calibration, and protective device setup

• Inspect Ex-rated equipment installation and certification

• Report non-conformities and manage corrective actions

• Maintain detailed inspection records and support QA/QC reporting

• Assist commissioning teams during pre-commissioning and handover

Who We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience inspecting electrical and instrumentation systems in energy, industrial, or oil & gas sectors

• Strong knowledge of LV/MV/HV electrical components and instrumentation

• Experience with testing, calibration, and verification of control systems

• Familiarity with IEC, ATEX, EN62208, ISO60079 standards

• Compex-type certification or equivalent for Ex equipment inspection (subject to Eni approval)

• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and loop drawings

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial
