About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team as a Sports Coach.
In this role you will support the development and delivery of community sports programmes with a focus on school sports delivery, curriculum development and school relationships.
What will you be doing?
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of level 1 coaching qualification or equivalent in 2 or more sports. You have experience of developing session plans that are inclusive to specific group and developing inclusive coaching curriculums. You will also have experience supporting the development of community programmes and being a part of meetings with partners and community groups. You’ll have experience working with minority groups to engage them into sport and physical activity. It is desirable to have a level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent in 2 or more sports. You must have flexible availability to work on evenings and weekends.

- Ensure quality inclusive sessions are delivered across LFC Foundation sports programmes, in schools and community settings.
- Create inclusive session plans which support the development of young people experiencing new sports for the very first time through to talent identification and pathways.
- Support the development and delivery of continuing professional development/mentoring to casual coaches, coach mentees and volunteers.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive activities.
- Engage with and deliver sessions with underrepresented groups such as diverse communities and disabled young people.
- Engage with local community groups and leaders to promote local sports offers.
- Support across all LFC Foundation projects, programmes and events were required.
- Ensure session plans and risk assessments are completed to a high standard.
- Collect and record data on LFC Foundation databases to ensure consistent and reliable reporting to funders.
- Ensure case studies and PR opportunities are regularly undertaken in line with Club and Foundation guidelines.
- Provide content for LFC Foundation social media.
- To undertake other tasks as required.
