Join our Retirement Living team in Coventry as a Lifestyle Coach where you'll promote active lifestyles, positive wellbeing and social inclusion within our services!
As a Lifestyle Coach, you'll work in partnership with our residents and external services/organisations to promote and facilitate a varied calendar of activities and events, enhancing the wellbeing of our residents in an innovative, entertaining and inclusive way - always ensuring that our residents have a voice in contributing towards the programme.
Utilising your networking skills, a key part of this role is building relationships with local community businesses, universities, charities and other external organisations/services to drive the delivery of and participation in varied activities/events. Importantly, you'll review the success of the lifestyle programmes to continually improve tenant satisfaction.
Our residents lead independent lifestyles, so our vision is that with your support, our residents will be empowered to run their own programme of activities and events, with a little support from you when needed.
Please be aware, this is a lone worker role where you may be the only responsible person on scheme, representing Midland Heart in the event of an emergency or customer query.
This is a full time role working 35 hours per week across two schemes – Willowbrook, near Warwick University and Princethorpe Court, in Ernsford Grange. There may be occasional evening and weekend work based on the calendar of events running at each scheme.
Our ideal candidate? We're looking for an engaging and adaptable person who strives to deliver the best possible customer experience whilst balancing multiple demands. Your application will also demonstrate the following skills and experience:
You'll have experience of planning, organising and delivering varied activities/events, adapted and tailored to the diverse needs of an audience.
You'll have experience of working with a variety of age groups with a drive to enhance inclusion and participation.
You'll have experience of partnering with outside agencies, organisations and services to deliver activities/events.
You'll also have basic IT skills with the ability to create activity planners.
A creative flair along with the personality needed to encourage others to try new experiences is a must!
