About The Role

We're currently looking for a highly capable Senior Engineer to join our Regional Civils team on the South Wokingham Distributor Road project, This is a key highways scheme that will improve regional connectivity and support local development.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a leadership role on a live civil engineering project, managing site engineering delivery and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance across all construction phases.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Engineer You Will
- Lead the site engineering team to deliver technical excellence on highways and associated infrastructure works
- Oversee setting out, surveying, and quality assurance processes
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, programmes, and safety standards
- Support planning, programming, and coordination of subcontractor activities
- Produce and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs
- Manage material approvals, construction records, and as-built documentation
- Provide engineering input to resolve design and construction challenges on site
- Mentor and developing junior engineers and supporting staff.
You Will Have The Following
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience in a Senior Engineer or similar role on highways/civils projects
- Solid knowledge of setting out, earthworks, drainage, pavement construction, and utilities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Proficient in using surveying instruments and construction software
- CSCS card and SMSTS certification preferred.
