About The Role

It is therefore essential that we provide excellent customer service and communication to reach all those individuals and businesses our projects touch, as such were looking Community Relations Coordinator to join our Highways team based in Grays

Within this role you'll manage and oversee all community related correspondence associated with the Lower Thames Crossing Roads North project. This critical role involves writing content, maintaining accurate records, tracking responses and ensuring effective and timely communication between the project and external stakeholders

What you'll be doing

As a Community Relations Coordinator You'll

Correspondence management and systems

  • Write, distribute, receive, log and archive all incoming and outgoing community focused communications
  • Manage correspondence and maintain accurate records using digital document control systems (e.g. ProjectWise, MS Dynamics 365, CRM)
  • Ensure all correspondence is tracked and responded to within required timeframes, in line with the client’s public complaints and enquiries process
  • Assist in the development of correspondence tracking systems and processes to ensure audit compliance and accessibility

Quality Assurance and standards

  • Create, format and quality-check outgoing community focused communications to ensure alignment with corporate and project standards, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with project protocols
  • Ensure all community focused communications comply with the client’s writing and tone of voice guidance

Stakeholder engagement

  • Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear and timely community focused communications are created and delivered
  • Liaise with colleagues and client stakeholders to resolve issues or delays in correspondence workflows

Reporting and support

  • Generate regular reports on correspondence status, volumes and performance metrics
  • Assist in preparing for audits and reviews
  • Provide training and support to team members on protocols and systems relating to community focused communications

Who we're looking for

You Will Have / Be

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Be able to quickly source and interpret technical information from a variety of sources and translate into customer-friendly written communications
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and willingness to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Competent in the use of MS Office applications and document management systems
  • Prior experience in correspondence management, document control or project administration
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise under pressure
  • A passion for delivering a great customer experience
