Essential Duties And Responsibilities
We are seeking an ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individual to join our team. This full-time, fixed-term apprenticeship is based at our Dumfries office, where you will serve as the Production Administrative Assistant Modern Apprentice. You will play a key part in monitoring material stocks and maintaining material transactions for Manufacturing Facilities. You will also be responsible for the ordering and stock control of PPE. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in material control and administration while working towards a recognised qualification level 5 or 6 SCQF depending on individual:

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly stock checks and mid-month cycle counts of raw materials to maintain accurate stocks.
- Monitor shopfloor computer tracking system and resolve any daily issues.
- Ordering of raw materials from external warehouse.
- Ordering distribution and stock control of misc. production supplies and PPE.
- Provide administration support manufacturing personnel.
- Requires established skills to perform a range of day-to-day activities
- Requires knowledge and skills gained through formal training or considerable work experience
- Has no supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload
- 0-1 year(s) of experience
- You will have achieved or be working towards 4 National 5’s or equivalent A - C grades, one of which should be Maths, and a minimum of 3 Highers or equivalent, English and Business/Admin subjects preferred.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Fully familiar with all Microsoft Office applications
