We have an exciting opportunity for a committed, motivated and experienced practitioner who will lead and support the delivery of Vocational Learning within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. In this post you will be working within a small and enthusiastic team leading the delivery of Scottish Vocational Qualifications, Modern Apprenticeships and Professional Development Awards.

You will work closely with the Learning and Organisational Development Manager in providing advice and guidance on Vocational Qualifications to line and service managers. You will also undertake workplace assessment and provide professional leadership and guidance to candidates undertaking an SVQ/MAs in Business & Administration and Learning & Development at SCQF Levels 6 and 7.

You will be an enthusiastic team player who has a working knowledge and understanding of SQA procedures and guidelines including SVQ delivery with excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

As part of the learning and organisational development team, you will also work closely with our employability team in helping NHS Ayrshire and Arran to develop and grow its future workforce.

Whilst this post is based at the training centre at Ayrshire Central Hospital - Irvine, you will be required to work across all sites with scope for some hybrid/home working.

The shift pattern for this post is 09:00 17:00 hrs Monday to Thursday 09:00 and 16:30 Friday.
