About the role

Balfour Beatty have a fantastic opportunity for a Security Superviisor to join the Power T&D team
You will br working alongside the Project Manager / Project Director and project team with accountability for successful project delivery including planning, delivery, monitoring, and handover/close out
This position is site based located near Sudbury, Suffolk and is a fixed term contract for 23 months

What you'll be doing

  • Main duty to Supervise Project Security Sub-Contractors
  • To brief the working party and ensure it is followed to completion.
  • Set people to work and supervise a right first-time delivery to safely and sustainably develop and deliver to programme and cost.
  • Manage logistics of site set ups and ensure compliance with security management plan and appropriate policies & procedures
  • Monitor assets and process to minimise losses to the project.
  • Effectively manage and care for the people delivering the works whilst monitoring
    compliance and to customer/project requirements, objectives and constraints; time,cost, quality and safety
  • Attend project weekly meetings
  • Maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries etc.)
  • Prepare both internal/external reports and liaised with stakeholders
  • Take ownership of Security and CCTV Schedule in line with works programme
    and budgets
  • Ensure Site Security arrangements are implemented and set up in line with site
    plans

  • Experience in implementing safe systems of work
  • Experience in managing risks and change processes
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all levels of the
    organisation
  • Good interpersonal skills that enable working relationships to be developed at
    all levels across the business and be able to negotiate and influence
  • Able to undertake work in high pressure situations with a flexible attitude
  • A record of a solutions-based approach to problem solving
  • Identify and drive personal development
  • Full UK driving licence
