Our Assistant Cooks are invaluable to our services and play a key role in supporting the Cook with the smooth running of the kitchen and preparing delicious meals for our residents:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Cook to coordinate, prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Working with the Cook to review menus
- Ensure prepared food is of high quality and presentation
- Adhere to individual dietary requirements and ensure adequate ingredients are readily available
- Cleaning and maintaining a tidy kitchen area (floors, cookers, fridges, etc.)
- Assisting with stock taking and the storage of goods, including checking deliveries
