Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Luton, where you will help to ensure that our water metering products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge products that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of water metering systems, directly contributing to the optimization of critical resources.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative solutions for water metering applications.
- Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and verify product requirements and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Industrial experience in mechanical design and development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools (CFD, FEA) would be valued.
