Your Role, Your Impact

As a HR Advisor, you will contribute to our vision of being the UK’s favourite property manager by providing an exceptional HR/Employee Relations service to our teams, coaching and supporting line managers to develop high performing teams and deliver a high-quality customer experience to internal and external customers. You will ensure that our employees have a great experience which is engaging, well managed and frustration-free. Reporting into the Head of People Partnering, this role has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality employee relations support and case management to teams, including coaching and guidance with disciplinary, grievance, performance management, sickness absence, exit interviews, probation, and TUPE, in line with current legislations.
  • Through coaching and training, ensure your client group understand HR policies & procedures and our employee proposition, Ensure strong focus and understanding of people metrics, both in respect of reporting and insight
  • As required, work with the People Partnering team to support to line managers on a variety of areas including, employee on-boarding, ongoing personal development, talent, and succession planning, change and improvement programmes across the business, employee engagement.
  • Ensure data integrity across the FirstPort People team.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Support projects to deliver the People Agenda as appropriate.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to drive the impact, value and credibility of the People function, continually striving to improve.
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People team – Payroll, HR Services, Reward/Benefits, Recruitment, Learning & Development
  • Supporting the Head of People Partnering on various projects as appropriate
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience of managing complex employee relations cases and coaching line managers
  • Demonstrable experience of TUPE legislation (in/out) consultation and due diligence
  • An excellent communicator - both written and verbal – with the ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strong attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Proactive self-starter who is motivated to beat their own objectives and work with the business to deliver.
  • Extremely organised, knowing what to prioritise and when someone who can juggle multiple tasks and deliver them all in an efficient and effective manner.
  • A team player, pivotal in working closely and collaboratively with the wider People team.
  • Resilient and determined, someone who loves to do a great job, spots an opportunity to improve a process and is all round proactive in their ways.
  • Experience of HRIS Systems - iTrent would be advantageous.
