Workday IT Project Manager

We’re seeking a Workday IT Project Manager with a strong technical background to join a major insurance firm.This role is critical to the delivery of core Workday Finance initatives within a broader transformation programme. This is a permanent position via Robert Walters Concultancy, beginning with an initial 6-month onsite engagement (3 days per week in their Gloucester office). The overall programme is expected to run for up to 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex IT-driven Workday projects across the full lifecycle.
• Operate as a Technology Project Manager, working closely with architecture, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Manage technical dependencies, integrations, and data migration in collaboration with internal IT and third-party vendors.
• Use tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking, workflow, and technical documentation.
• Ensure solutions are successfully integrated into the IT landscape and supported post go-live.
  
  

Skillset And Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager with hands-on experience delivering Workday Finance projects
• Experience in insurance or financial services
• Strong understanding of IT delivery models, systems integration, and project governance
• Solid technical knowledge and the ability to liaise confidently with engineers, architects, and tech leads
