IT Business Systems Manager for Finance

The Recipe
To provide SAP application support for all processes in the Finance business function; ensuring that incidents are resolved efficiently and recurring issues are eliminated through problem management. Partner with Finance stakeholders to ensure opportunities for improvement are continuously identified and implemented.
Key Accountabilities and Measures
- To identify and implement improvements that will improve the use of, and business value delivered through, the applications in the Finance process area.
- To ensure that IT services in the Finance process area are restored to normal service as soon as possible with minimal disruption to the business.
- To identify and implement solutions to known problems through the change management process.
- To ensure that all IT incidents are logged through the IT helpdesk and work towards reducing the number of calls logged.
- To work closely with Warburtons own developers and /or external consultants to provide solutions to the business.
- To provide user support and training for their business process area.
- To improve technical knowledge through personal learning, approved training courses and visiting exhibitions, conferences and Special Interest Groups.
- To build excellent customer relations with key business stakeholders and user base.
Essential Ingredients
- Significant SAP Finance experience, ideally within an FMCG environment; broad knowledge of critical business processes and understanding of ITIL Service Management Principles.
- S/4 HANA and Fiori experience would be beneficial
- Regularly monitors work carried out by others to ensure tasks are delivered to time, quality and other requirements and makes improvements where required.
- Excellent communication skills: influential; persuasive; articulate; politically savvy. Gains and maintains attention when speaking to a group of people.
- Excellent relationship builder: establishing credibility with both internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Customer focus: thinks about the impact on IT’s customers of changes to IT services
- Analysing and problem solving: identifies flaws in analyses, knowing where and when further investigation is required.
- Decision making: has the confidence to defend decisions assertively.
