About The Role

You will be responsible for a Brand SKU portfolio, driving alignment of an agreed Brand forecast through the monthly S&OP cycle.

Maintaining weekly SKU level forecasts within KINAXIS DP through the inputs provided from the S&OP process. These forecasts are used for planning production and the purchase of finished goods from our global supply sites, as well as providing a forward view of sales revenue to the Business.

The role interfaces directly with Sales and Marketing to accurately reflect promotional and marketing activity within the forecast. For major accounts, Customer collaboration sessions form part of the monthly process to drive promotional alignment and compliance.

This is a highly visible role within the Essential Home business and involves presenting to the senior leadership team each month.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring continuity of Supply through collaborating with factories and 3rd party copackers, control of inventory levels, control raw and pack materials and ensuring service to our customers through executing the forecast.Further to Demand and Supply Planning, this role will be responsible for leading Embellishment across the total portfolio. Embellishment demand mainly comes from in store displays so the successful candidate would work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to plan and execute all upcoming embellishment activations.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain SKU forecast in KINAXIS DP for the next 12 months as a minimum. This is done through consolidating the inputs from the IBP process, performing trend analysis, and providing challenge where necessary to the stakeholders in the Commercial Business.
  • Leading the Demand Planning Meeting within the S&OP process to generate the business forecast for defined Customer(s)
  • Ensure an accurate Customer / SKU forecast to help facilitate delivery in full and best in class customer service.
  • Ownership and achievement primary KPI’s – Forecast Accuracy (MAD / Bias), Customer Fill Rate (PFR)
  • Supporting NPD/EPD projects within product portfolio.
  • The planning of the 3rd party copackers by creating purchase orders base on the correct lead time
  • Ensuring continuity of supply through collaboration with the 3rd party and RB factories
  • Control of inventory of the stock, pack materials and raw material
  • Understanding the relationship between forecast and planning as this is directly affecting the copackers / factory`s RCCP and you need to find the best solution to control the inventory.
  • Tracking inbounds shipments to ensure on time delivery via sea freight/air freight by having a strong collaboration with Logistics peers.
  • Work with UK Marketing, Global Marketing and Trade Marketing to identify new product opportunities for UK Embellishment
  • Project management of embellishment launches into the business with the support of the Commercial and Supply teams including contingency planning and resolving issues
  • Ensure that the first production plans for Embellishment NPD’s and promotional units are aligned to business needs and alongside the ongoing embellishment planner to ensure stock is available when required
  • Support in the Financial Forecast Planning across embellishment for UKI including aligning quarterly forecasts, managing embellishment costs keeping within budgets.
  • Maintain optimum customer service levels by effectively coordinating with production facilities and managing daily forecasts.
