As our Rock Mineral Wool Product Manager, you will lead the development of the rock mineral wool product strategy, ensuring that it remains aligned with company’s ambitions and changing market landscape. You will also maintain an interest in emerging approaches that may benefit the company, seeking inspirational excellence from both within and outside of the industry.


What you’ll be doing…


  • Manage the rock mineral wool product portfolio, analyse trends and recommend action where necessary, ensuring the range remains competitive and meets the needs of the market.
  • Monitor and report performance on a regular basis or in-line with campaign activity, suggest and implement actions to maximise impact.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Determine customers' needs by specifying research, obtaining market information and carrying out regular visits to target customers.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to identify areas for product development through incremental improvements to the current range or new innovations.
  • Project management of NPD projects from ideation to launch.
  • Drive product launches working with teams across the business.
  • Monitor post launch product performance and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the UK marketing team to develop marketing strategies and tactics to meet company objectives and create preference for RMW insulation over and above alternative insulants.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing own networks.
  • Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to develop, create and maintain product-related content.
  • Budget responsibility
  • Attendance at monthly marketing meetings and contribution to marketing reporting.

If you have any of the following – this would be an added advantage:


  • Minimum requirement: degree in relevant subject (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years enterprise-level Product Management experience
  • Good understanding of the construction industry and building materials
  • Strong IT literacy of Microsoft packages
  • Project management/delivery experience
  • Able to manage multiple projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • A curiosity to continually learn about new marketing, product and construction trends
