We are looking for a Logistics Quality Controller to join our busy and growing organisation. The Logistics Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of inventory over goods inbound, stored product and customer orders internal and external.
The hours of work are Monday-Friday 08:00 – 16:00

We are looking for a Logistics Quality Controller to join our busy and growing organisation. The Logistics Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of inventory over goods inbound, stored product and customer orders internal and external.

Key Responsibilities
- Check inbound outbound goods are compliant with design drawings and conform to the required standards. Raising any concerns with quality and purchasing functions.
- Site Returns Inspections conducted with inventory controller
- Update relevant teams on any drawing or process amendments
- Support SHEQ with customer complaints
- Random checks of on hand material to ensure quality before consumption or shipping
- Raising NCR’s and supporting investigations related to this
- Auditing of on hand stock, picked orders and orders being despatched both internally and externally for quality and accuracy. Recording findings and feeding back in a timely manner
- Manage and update quarantine materials
- Recording and monitoring of patterns reporting any findings to the management to put in preventive actions.
- Conduct FOC investigation’s and provide information for review to logistics management team
- Monthly reporting of findings to SHEQ and Logistics Manager
- Cover inventory controller in their absence
- Experience of understanding working drawings
- Experience of quality management processes
- Experience of auditing
- Experience using and updating inventory systems
- Experience working with large & complex data-sets
- Extensive knowledge of Excel & Other office applications
- High level of numeracy accuracy and the ability to read and understand orders.
- Good communication skills - must be able to understand and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
- Counterbalance Forklift licence
- Combi Truck licence (multi directional)
