As Head of English Faculty, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing a clear vision for the English faculty that aligns with the school's overall educational goals.
- Curriculum Development: Overseeing the planning, delivery, and assessment of an engaging and challenging English curriculum in KS3 nad KS4 .
- Team Leadership: Leading, motivating, and supporting a team to foster a collaborative and innovative departmental culture.
- Teaching and Learning: Championing teaching and learning practices within the faculty to ensure high standards and positive outcomes for all students.
- Assessment and Data Analysis: Utilising data to inform teaching and learning strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Resource Management: Effectively managing the faculty's budget and resources.
- Promoting a Love of Literature: Fostering a genuine passion for reading, writing, and critical thinking amongst our students.
- A highly qualified and experienced English teacher with a proven track record of success.
- An outstanding classroom practitioner with a deep subject knowledge.
- An inspirational leader with the ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
- Passionate about English education and dedicated to fostering a love of literature in young people.
