As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Procurement to lead the evolution of our procurement function, ensuring efficiency, compliance and best-in-class supplier partnerships.

As the Head of Procurement you’ll spearhead the development and execution of a procurement strategy that drives values, optimises costs and aligns with Lithia UK’s ambitious growth plans. You’ll lead a high-performing procurement team, collaborate with key stakeholders and champion innovation to continuously enhance our sourcing, supply chain and contract management processes.

Your Journey as the Head of Procurement:

• Develop and lead a company-wide procurement strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives efficiency
• Inspire and empower your team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Build and nurture strong supplier relationships to secure the best value, quality, and service across our supply chain
• Negotiate with confidence, securing competitive contracts, terms, and pricing agreements that optimise spend and reduce risk
• Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, influence procurement best practices, and ensure seamless collaboration
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency while maintaining quality and service excellence
• Ensure full compliance with legal, ethical, and company procurement standards, mitigating supply chain risks and ensuring sustainability
• Champion digital transformation, leveraging data analytics and procurement technology to enhance decision-making and streamline processes

Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We’re looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience leading a procurement function, ideally within a large, multi-site organisation
• Strong understanding of UK procurement regulations, contract law and supply chain principles as well as procurement systems (e.g. ERP, eSourcing platforms, spend analysis)
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and can translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives
• Sound negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels whilst bringing forward innovative ideas
