About The Role
- Ensure Correla’s statutory Data Protection obligation are met, acting as the defacto Data Protection Officer
- Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in driving understanding and guidance for the business in its adoption of Privacy and Data Governance strategies, policies, processes and technologies
- Manage and evolve the privacy by design culture within Product Development lifecycle
- Manage and ensure all Data Subject Access Requests are fulfilled within the obligated timescales
- Lead and support horizon scanning for new legislation/threats to enable Correla to stay protected.
- Support contractual development for Clients and Suppliers
- Provide expert support to the Legal and Procurement teams
- Lead and support the Privacy and Data Governance team in ensuring BAU processes are followed and robust.
- Lead and continuously develop the training and awareness programme to build and embed Data Protection understanding and responsibilities.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and maintain strong professional relationships.
- You will have recognised Data Protection certifications of at least IAPP CIPP-E and IAPP CIPM or equivalent
- You will have expert knowledge of Data Protection laws
- You will have knowledge and experience in implementing Industry standard Data Governance Frameworks
- You will have experience of implementing Data Privacy policies and processes e.g. ROPA, Data Classification, DPIA
- You will have experience and expertise auditing and managing multiple and large Record of Processing Activities and reviews.
- You will have experience and knowledge of implementing and managing continuous training and awareness programmes across multiple disciplines
