The Role: We are looking for dedicated Student Engagement and Support Officers to join our team and play a key role in monitoring student attendance and engagement. You will work closely with academic schools and professional services to identify students at risk of non-progression or non-continuation, providing proactive outreach and personalised support to help them re-engage and succeed

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor attendance and engagement data to identify students requiring support
  • Contact and work with students showing low engagement or at risk of disengagement
  • Collaborate with academic and professional teams to implement targeted interventions
  • Provide pastoral support and refer students to specialist services where appropriate
  • Promote wellbeing initiatives and contribute to creating a supportive, inclusive student community
  • Ensure all students feel valued and empowered to thrive academically and personally

About you:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a student-centred approach
  • Experience working in a student support, pastoral, or wellbeing role
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
  • Skilled in data monitoring and using insights to guide interventions
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships

We offer a hybrid working model, flexible working and reduced hours may also be available
