About The Role

The role of the Operations Administrative Assistant is to deliver an efficient service within the Technology Centres UK.

Technology Centres UK is focused on providing Infrastructure and services that are supported, stable, and streamlined to enable Ocado technology employees and teams to work in a clear, controlled, and cost-effective manner whilst maintaining high levels of safety.

This role’s primary objective is to work across Ocado Technology UK to ensure that the best value, as well as on-time delivery ( performance ), is achieved for all products and services.

Accountable

What you will be doing

  • Working with people across Ocado Technology to deliver a high standard of service when it comes to Technology Centres UK

Responsible

  • Maintain the Safety Management System
  • Technology Centres UK Procurement
  • Own and maintain the PPE ordering and distribution process
  • Support Executive Sponsors, Business Owners, and Technical Leads in fulfilling their roles
  • Monitor Jira boards for new tickets and ticket maintenance
  • Support Logistics operations
  • Team Expenses
  • Minute taking on the Centre and Safety Steering Committee meetings
  • Identify ways to fulfil the organisation’s needs effectively and efficiently while reducing risk, controlling cost, and achieving high compliance standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to influence improvements in their processes
  • Improve the end-to-end processes as necessary to eliminate the root causes of waste
  • Demonstrable experience in managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset - always looking to simplify ways of working.
  • Any other reasonable administrative task

Minimum

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Positive and forward-thinking
  • Ability to implement change in processes
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility in working hours according to business requirements.

Preferred (in Addition To Minimum)

  • Previous work experience in administration
  • Knowledge of Ocado Technology
