ROLE: QA Technologist
LOCATION: Andover
SALARY: Up to £29k depending on experience
FULL TIME / PERMANENT: 37.5 HOURS
As our next QA Technologist you will show a real passion for supporting with the day-to-day administrative tasks of the technical QMS and OPS department to ensure requirements are met on time in full.
Your remit will be to drive effective communication and play a key role in the Technical / OPS Team to develop a Food Safety and Quality culture on site by undertaking a number of duties.
Key Responsibilities
Support the site in carrying out scheduled System, GMP & Hygiene audits to ensure audit ready every day.
Product Consistency - Collating quality information on a daily basis, analysing results and highlighting any Out of Spec (OOS).
Assist with Mock Recall and Traceability exercises throughout the year, as required.
Support Planning operation to include production reporting, updating tracker, review orders.
Collection and sending of finished products for testing.
Shelf-Life testing (flour and yeast)

- Good knowledge of Microsoft office suites especially Microsoft Excel.
- Action orientated with a proactive attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Practical, analytical, and logical thought processes
- Internal Quality Auditing.
- SAP system.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Food Safety & Quality knowledge
- Planning / Administration skills.
- Food manufacturing experience.
