The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Rotating Plant Engineer to complete a range of hands-on responsibilities to support the TeesREP site in ensuring safety and availability of all rotating plant and equipment.
You'll provide professional rotating plant engineering support to the TeesREP site ensuring asset integrity and reliability is maintained in a manner consistent with delivering customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of rotating equipment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of equipment failures and performance issues.
  • Lead the vibration analysis for the site.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation related to rotating equipment, including ongoing maintenance tactics development.
  • Provide technical support, training and guidance to maintenance and operations teams.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of new equipment and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement engineering procedures, instructions, standards, guidance documents to enable user operability and understanding, compliance, plant support, safety and security.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong experience in rotating equipment engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design principles, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to rotating equipment.
