Working Hours: 6 hrs a week Saturday and Sunday 06:00 - 09:00

What you’ll do:

  • Site Cleaning & Waste Management: Perform litter picking across the site, ensuring a clean and presentable environment. Empty bins and replace bin bags, disposing of waste in the onsite euro bin.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate equipment such as a 'walk-behind' cleaner to maintain site cleanliness.
  • Compliance & Procedures: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and technological systems for recording and reporting work.
  • Health & Safety: Follow the company’s Health & Safety and Environmental policies. Report any accidents, near misses, or hazards promptly, and assess work areas to implement necessary control measures.
  • PPE & Risk Management: Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately and follow risk and COSHH assessments to ensure safe working practices.
  • Attendance & Appearance: Ensure consistent attendance and maintain a professional appearance by wearing the provided uniform and PPE.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team where applicable and communicate effectively with managers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., 'walk-behind' cleaner) with training provided.
  • Competence in carrying out physically demanding tasks.
  • A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic IT literacy to use company systems where applicable.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (if required for site).
