Influence operational planning at East Midlands Special Operations Unit!

As Intelligence Officer for the Regional Organised Crime Unit at EMSOU you will play a pivotal role in understanding the current risk, threat and harm from serious and organised crime across the region; collecting and developing intelligence to inform strategic and tactical decisions to help address crime within the East Midlands region and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Evaluating information to identify intelligence gaps
  • Be a point of contact for sharing intelligence with other Law Enforcement Agencies
  • Managing multi-agency intelligence in a threat to life/high risk situation

The must haves

  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent work-based experience using evidence and intelligence gathering techniques
  • Experience of supporting reactive and proactive investigations
  • Experience in interrogation with both open and closed intelligence sources
