Help Be Free Campaign grow our reach and impact. You’ll play a key role in researching local businesses, creating fundraising ideas, promoting events, and supporting everyday operations, all in support of young people's mental health.
What difference will you make?
Your contribution will help Be Free Campaign generate vital income and partnerships to expand our reach and deepen our impact. By supporting the development of strategic fundraising initiatives and building long term partnerships, you’ll play a direct role in ensuring the sustainability and growth of our services. Your work will enable us to deliver more mental health support to young people across the region, equip schools and communities with resources, and amplify youth voices in conversations around mental wellbeing.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone passionate about mental health and lasting change in the local community. You can make this role your own, volunteering as much time as you are able and having a real voice in the work we do. To be successful in this role, you will need Essential skills and experience At least 3 years’ professional experience in one or more of the following areas Fundraising and income generation (corporate, community, or events) Business development or partnerships Marketing or communications (with a focus on engagement or outreach) A track record of building relationships with external stakeholders or partners. Strong communication skills, especially in writing compelling outreach emails, proposals, or reports. The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and contribute to strategic thinking. Desirable skills Experience writing or designing fundraising proposals, sponsorship packs, or partnership decks. Familiarity with CRM systems or tools used for supporter management and tracking. Understanding of the charity sector, particularly small or youth-focused charities. Qualities we value A genuine passion for mental health and youth empowerment. A proactive, positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork. Creativity and openness to trying new approaches. Respect for confidentiality and sensitivity when working with issues related to mental health.

Be Free Campaign is a youth mental health charity working across the North West to support young people through stigma free programmes and wellbeing initiatives. With increasing demand for our services, we are seeking a skilled professional to support the growth of our fundraising and partnerships strategy. You will collaborate with our Partnerships and Engagement Officer to research and engage prospective partners, develop tailored sponsorship proposals, and contribute to campaign and stewardship planning. We are particularly looking for someone with professional experience in one or more of the following areas fundraising, business development, marketing, or CSR partnerships. This is a flexible, remote-friendly role where you can apply your expertise to high-impact work that directly supports young people's mental health.
