What team does this sit within?

This role sits within the Sales & Commercial teams. The drivers behind our valued Roam client partnerships.

What will you be doing?

As a Commercial Bid Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the team with various administrative tasks. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Proactively source new business leads through digital platforms, industry events, and targeted outreach
  • Engage prospective clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings to promote our fully funded EV charging solutions
  • Qualify opportunities and lead early-stage commercial conversations, tailoring value propositions to client needs
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal teams to shape compelling proposals and bid responses
  • Track and manage the bid pipeline, ensuring timely submission of proposals and continuous improvement of win rate
  • Support the opening and expansion of relationships across large portfolio clients as well as smaller, high-potential accounts
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and policy developments to inform sales strategy

Are you?

We are seeking candidates with previous experience in a similar role, as well as the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a commercial, sales, or bid management role, ideally within EV, renewables, infrastructure, or technology
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate technical and financial propositions clearly
  • Comfortable working independently to generate leads and manage pipelines
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management capabilities
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A passion for clean energy, sustainability, and driving the EV transition
