We are investing in our team to keep the world flying. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The shifts rotate weekly: Week One, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; Week Two, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and so on.

You will be working in our Global Headquarters which is set amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs, an inspirational environment for our staff.

Function:
To work as part of the Goods Despatch team to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely despatch of all out going shipments in accordance with company procedures and to meet all operational requirements. Provide the highest level of service to all Avtrade departments and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, inspect parts for depatch and evaluate all certification and documentation
  • Ensure items are packed to shipping requirements and regulations, correctly identify, pack and raise HAZMAT documentation
  • Input and record relevant data on IT systems
  • Use Counter balance/Reach Forklift equipment within the warehouse
  • Liaise effectively with freight and courier companies on all shipments as required

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of warehouse disciplines
  • Awareness of component conditions, certification and airworthiness regulations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent computer literacy, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and extensive knowledge of Quantum
