Role description:
Arcadis is excited to be expanding its Nuclear team, specifically focusing on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in the Warrington area. We are looking for talented Project Managers to develop and implement an integrated project delivery model, governance, management arrangements, and delivery plans. You will manage the successful delivery of all project activities within your delegated authority and report into the project governance structure. During the early phases of the SMR Project, the main areas of scope for Project Managers will include managing nuclear power station delivery, enabling works, site characterisation, associated developments, and major permissions and consents. The Project Management team will also collaborate closely with all aspects of the SMR Project delivery, such as the Commercial and Technical teams.
The purpose of this role is to provide effective management of major projects from inception to completion. As a Project Manager, you will work with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the project is completed to the agreed scope, time, and budget, meeting the required nuclear industry quality standards, safely, and in line with the intended objectives and benefits.
As part of our Programme and Project Management team, you’ll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you’ll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.
You will be part of establishing a major programme, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a First of a Kind (FOAK) UK SMR Project. While this is a fast-paced and exciting challenge, you should be comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and change.
