About The Role
Working Days: Monday - Friday 09:00-16:00pm
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across residential areas in line with contractual and service level agreements. Working under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the role includes daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks, supporting summer lettings and conferences, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

About The Role

Working under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the role includes daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks, supporting summer lettings and conferences, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Carry out daily and periodic cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, and dusting in designated residential areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly and operate tools and follow procedures to ensure effective and safe cleaning.
- Replenish janitorial supplies in lavatories, ensuring toilets are stocked with tissue, soap, and hand towels.
- Report building defects and incidents and notify the manager or porter of any maintenance or safety issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional and helpful attitude toward residents, visitors, and staff.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Experience using cleaning equipment and practical knowledge of tools and techniques used in housekeeping.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety.
- Flexible to work additional hours, especially during summer business.
