The Sales Manager UK is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities within the UK retail pharmacy segment. Reporting to the UK General Manager, the role supports execution of the commercial strategy through market insights and customer engagement.
Your Main Responsibilities Include
- Driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with retail pharmacy partners.
- Monitoring market trends and adapting sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with portfolio and operations teams.
- Ensuring compliance with UK pharmaceutical regulations and commercial standards.
- Reviewing and refining go-to-market strategies to align with business goals.
- Developing and implementing customer-specific plans for the UK retail pharmacy segment.
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of UK healthcare systems, policies, and reimbursement frameworks.
- Leading consultative sales efforts and supporting product launches.
- Representing Abacus Medicine at industry events and trade shows.
- Collaborating internally on public procurement tenders and market intelligence.
- Managing accurate customer data in CRM tools to support sales processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background within pharmaceuticals or healthcare, with a proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage customers strategically.
Furthermore, We Imagine That You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Extensive experience in sales or business development in the UK healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- A strong understanding of UK healthcare structures and reimbursement models.
- Demonstrated success in consultative selling and product launches.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Results-driven, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
