We’re looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist with proven experience in Anaplan and Power BI to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting that drives business decisions.

In this role, you’ll own and enhance our Anaplan models, ensuring timely and reliable monthly reporting and forecasting. You’ll also design and build impactful Power BI dashboards that make financial data clear and accessible. Alongside this, you’ll support the smooth running of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system, helping keep financial operations on track.

Your role at BRE

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Anaplan models to support the FP&A team and broader business with accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Lead the month-end consolidation process within Anaplan, ensuring timely and accurate data for management reporting.
  • Build new financial models and enhance existing ones to deliver high-quality reporting that supports business decision-making.
  • Manage divisional reporting structures and user access permissions within Anaplan to maintain data security and accuracy.
  • Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel skills to perform model reconciliations and accurately query, aggregate, validate, and summarise financial data.
  • Design and maintain robust reporting tools within Anaplan to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Oversee year-end rollover activities in Anaplan, ensuring models are properly archived and transitioned for the new financial year.
  • Provide support to the Financial Reporting & Analytics Manager with Power BI dashboard development and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) system requirements.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial projects as needed, collaborating across the finance function to support broader business goals.

Your profile

  • Extensive experience developing and using the Anaplan system for effective planning and forecasting
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, improving workflows and data integration
  • Skilled in model and report writing within management reporting systems, providing clear business insights
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex information to varied audiences
  • Organised and detail-focused, consistently meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Collaborative team player, building positive working relationships across functions
  • Proficient in Power BI report building to support data-driven decisions
  • Background in Finance or Finance support, with solid understanding of financial processes

Work Location Options

Mostly Remote – This role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel to our head office in Watford for planned meetings (1-2 times per month).
