About the Role
As a Case Officer in our SEND Team, you’ll play a vital role in managing statutory assessments and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people. You’ll work closely with families, schools, and professionals across education, health, and social care to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage casework from referral to completion of statutory assessments.
- Draft and amend EHCPs in line with statutory timescales.
- Liaise with parents, schools, and multi-agency partners.
- Attend and contribute to reviews, panels, and tribunals.
- Monitor educational outcomes and funding use for pupils with EHCPs.
- Provide expert advice and training to schools and settings.
