Role Overview

Responsible for ensuring the team supports the achievement of the required SLA’s through the effective management of direct reports; accountable for maintaining best standards and Health and Safety practices and promoting a supportive & engaged working environment.

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the overall control of the workflow and organisation of the team to ensure that the standards of performance, attendance, quality and conduct are met.
  • To influence the team to achieve the required SLA’s i.e. internet & retail fulfilment, H&S targets & people team deadlines et al
  • To look to continuously improve processes to gain maximum efficiencies and a high level of customer service
  • To provide management information & performance updates at key points throughout the day/week
  • To ensure that the team are fully engaged & understand the business and departmental objectives
  • To provide support and coaching for team members to develop the team and enable pro-active succession plans
  • To train/develop the team in line with the site compliance and development structures
  • To undertake any special improvement projects and provide all statistics and reports as required

Skills And Experience

  • Able to demonstrate building, developing and managing an effective team
  • Ability to prioritise work efficiently, to set and achieve measurable targets and work within set plans
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Able to clearly communicate positively at all levels, both verbally and written
  • Able to problem solve and innovate
