About The Role

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the flawless performance of our mobile and web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for manually testing features across iOS, Android, and various web browsers to guarantee a high-quality user experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, executing comprehensive test plans, reporting bugs, and helping to refine our QA processes.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Perform thorough manual testing of native mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web applications across multiple platforms and browsers.
  • Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira, ensuring clear communication with developers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack to ensure consistent user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members in Agile/Scrum environments.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience in manual testing of both native mobile apps and web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira for bug tracking and test management.
  • Proficiency in using BrowserStack or similar tools for cross-platform testing.
  • Familiarity with Playwright and experience in executing and maintaining automation test scripts (even if not writing them from scratch).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience writing automation scripts in Playwright or other frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing principles.
