Hexcel is currently seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for our Leicester, UK location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Lead the engineering and maintenance department, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, and equipment uptime across maintenance.
- Manage labor, spare parts, and CAPEX budgets.
- Review and approve new equipment designs and modifications.
- Oversee work orders and preventive maintenance for quality and completeness.
- Use reports and statistics to plan and adjust maintenance activities.
- Train and empower staff on performance, safety, and company policies.
- Manage site facilities, including contractor coordination and cost control.
- Ensure buildings and equipment meet health, safety, and legal standards.
- Plan and manage building projects and central services like cleaning and waste.
- Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, with professional accreditation
- Relevant level of experience in facilities and maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong demonstrable Project management skills
- Technical knowledge of building services and ability to manage a varied and complex workload
- Organised, and able to demonstrate attention to detail as well as big picture, with ability to problem solve and work independently
- Time Management skills to enable efficiency in a fast paced role
- Excellent budget management skills with the ability to efficiently control costs and to make decisions quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication with a positive attitude and ability to work across multiple departments at all levels.
- Able to collaborate with others and create and sustain positive working relationships
- Good level of computer skills
