We’re looking for a confident and motivated healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a solid background in pathology to join us as Deputy Pathology Manager at our Brighton Hospital. You will be a collaborative, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a regulated environment and brings positivity and professionalism to a high-performing team.

At Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, we work with leading medical Consultants to provide first-class treatments and high standards of care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions using the latest facilities and technology. We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking

As our Deputy Pathology Manager, you will:
- Supervise and support pathology staff in the day-to-day operation of the department
- Lead on work scheduling, rotas, and workforce planning
- Contribute to recruitment, performance reviews, appraisals, and absence management
- Support and oversee training, development, and mentoring of the team
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and audit frameworks
- Attend key management meetings including the Integrated Governance Committee
- Hold a current HCPC registration (Health and Care Professions Council) – essential for this role
