We're seeking a highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive individual to join our friendly and supportive team in our office-based role at Haslemere. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines customer care, order processing, and business administration. You'll be dealing with a wide range of customers from retail to education as well as navigating our e-commerce web platforms.


This is an ideal role for someone with strong administrative skills, a customer-first mindset, and a natural attention to detail.


Key responsibilities


  • To effectively manage an email inbox, prioritise tasks efficiently, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to a variety of customer queries ranging from inbound calls to emails and live web chats.
  • Process orders, generate clear and competitive quotes, and manage service orders from sale to invoicing.
  • Attend departmental meetings and provide administrative support to the wider team.
  • Liaise with internal departments to help resolve customer queries and issues.
  • Open and manage customer support tickets via webchat and other platforms.
  • Maintain accurate customer, order, and service records.


Role requirements


  • Experience in an administrative role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A customer-first attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent service.
  • Previous experience in direct customer communication (in person, over the phone, or via email/webchat) is desirable.
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and comfortable thinking outside the box to overcome challenges.
  • Able to prioritise a varied workload to meet deadlines.
  • The role is on-site and based at our Haslemere office in Surrey, UK.
  • Working hours: 9:00 – 17:30, Monday - Friday
