Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Rails, React, and mySQL to contribute to the development and maintenance of our Home Finance applications. This role will involve working on cutting-edge projects, enhancing our digital services, and ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Rails, React, and mySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimise application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Document system configurations, processes, and code.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members.
- Strong experience with Rails, React, and mySQL.
- Proficiency in developing and deploying applications in a cloud-based environment.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with GCP and managing GKE Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiarity with Argo CD for continuous delivery.
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and identity management.
