SEND Tutor – Telford Training Centre
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 | Full Time | Juniper Training

We’re looking for a SEND Tutor to join our friendly and passionate team at our Telford Training Centre. If you’re someone who thrives on supporting young people with EHCPs, delivering high-quality education, and helping every learner shine – this could be your perfect role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering learning that sticks – Whether it’s vocational or employability skills, you’ll plan and deliver engaging group sessions that support the individual needs of students with SEND.
Creating impact – From assessing work and giving meaningful feedback to chairing EHCP reviews, you’ll help students build their knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs).
Being a support superstar – Working closely with the Local Authority, families, and support services, you’ll ensure each young person receives the tailored help they need to succeed.
Driving progression – From enterprise projects to external speakers and inspirational visits, you’ll bring learning to life and prepare learners for employment, independence or further study.
Making reasonable adjustments – You’ll ensure everything is in place for your learners, including equipment, support and exam access arrangements.
Qualifications And Experience
We’re looking for someone who brings both passion and professionalism to this rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in teaching and supporting young people with SEND, alongside relevant qualifications.

Qualifications And Experience

Essential
- Level 2 in English and Maths (minimum)
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification
- Level 3 qualification in Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the sector subject area
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification
- Experience delivering SEND provision to 16–24-year-olds
- Level 3 in English and/or Maths
- Postgraduate Specialist Teaching Qualification in SEND
- Safeguarding and/or Equality and Diversity qualifications
- Assessor qualification
