About The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organised, and efficient. You’ll assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and basic food preparation, contributing to the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and managing waste.
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient organisation.
- Support chefs by keeping equipment and tools clean and ready for use.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Help with deliveries, stock organisation, and recycling efforts.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure a seamless service.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a flexible approach to work.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under direction.
- Kitchen experience is preferred but not essential—enthusiasm and a strong work ethic matter most!
