This is a great job for someone who wants to work in the Wholesale Distribution team to drive Strategic Partnerships with IFAs, Discretionary Fund Managers, and Wealth Management firms in the UK.

A bit about the job:

In this role you will be required to develop strategic partnership channels and business development opportunities with key IFA consolidators, large national networks, and emerging advisory businesses as well as utilizing strong consultative selling skills to build solutions for Strategic Partners and provide them with a range of Aviva Investors’ capabilities.

You will be excited about creating and executing account strategies for key Strategic Partners, working collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing team.

We want you to Seek out and engage new business opportunities with firms unknown to Aviva Investors and create sales opportunities for the regional distribution teams through conferences, presentations, and webinars.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in developing relationships with key consolidators and national, network IFA firms.
  • Experience selling to the financial planning market and an understanding of the key strategic partner firms, including consultative selling.
  • Strong solutions mindset to understand developing propositions and service models to support sales initiative.
  • Competent and confident presenter, comfortable travelling nationwide to deliver training sessions to advisers
  • A commercial mindset and sales focused attitude – keen to think outside of the box when it comes to strategic account planning.

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
