The role of the Fundraiser is to raise the funds required for the local committee's to deliver campaigns and events.
What difference will you make?
By increasing the committees funds this enables us to targeted our awareness and raise the profile in local areas to help support people affected by crime by offering them an anonymous way to report their concerns. This will also increase our local funds to be more reactive to local issues and support local communities.
What are we looking for?
Fundraiser for East Anglia Crimestoppers committees should possess a combination of skills, experience, and qualities to effectively support our local fundraising efforts. Skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for drafting compelling grant proposals and donor communications. Strong research skills to identify potential donors and grant opportunities. Organizational skills to manage grant deadlines, and fundraising materials. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in grant applications and donor correspondence. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently to meet fundraising goals. Comfortable with speaking to senior representatives of third-party organisations and the ability to deliver verbal and written presentations to potential funders. Ensure all applications are compliant with financial regulations. Experience Previous experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations. Experience in nonprofit or volunteer work is beneficial. Plan, facilitate and deliver local events and activities to raise funds. Comply with all relevant legal requirements such as health and safety legislation for fundraising events. Qualities Passion for the values of Crimestoppers Trust, to help increase community safety. Integrity and ethical conduct in handling donor relationships and financial information. Initiative and self-motivation to take on responsibilities and contribute to fundraising efforts. Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and deadlines.

Primarily, a fundraiser will increase the contributions of individuals and groups to our charity by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities from various sources, such as a bid to a trust, or seeking support from a local business, working with major donors and planning and delivering fundraising events.
