Job Title - Senior Project Engineer

Location - Ashford, TN24 0LU

Salary - £65,000 per annum circa dependant on experience

A full time, permanent opportunity has arisen at our site in Ashford, Kent for an Senior Project Engineer to join the team. 

You will be responsible for managing the end to end delivery of multiple capital-based infrastructure, growth and cost out projects to specification, time & cost plan, achieving the highest of engineering and professional standards.

This is a great time to join the business whilst we are starting work on some new major projects and initiatives for our site. 

 

The successful candidate will:

• Development of pipeline of suitable projects, inc, feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis, etc.,
• Lead compilation of capital authority request documentation / narrative
• Lead and engage end users in the development of engineering scope
• Develop functional design specifications in compliance with engineering & Premier specifications
• Run tender and procurement activity with equipment vendor
  
  
  

 

 

What we need from you:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent
• Up to 5 years FMCG background
• Extensive capital project management experience with a customer focus
• Demonstrable record in successful delivery of engineering capital projects in FMCG with emphasis on specification /planning /implementation/ validation.
• Experience of indirect management of multi-functional/disciplinary teams
• Food processing and associated equipment knowledge
