We are delighted to announce a new 16 bed service based in Doncaster that will welcome patients from Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.
The unit with support patients with complex mental health with a focus on rehabilitation, patients may be in the service for up to 12 months and through a multi-professional approach will receive recovery focussed care.
To work as a member of a multi–disciplinary team assessing Dietetic needs and providing clinically effective and efficient interventions on an individual and group basis for people with mental health needs.

- To provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex dietetic needs as an autonomous practitioner for adults with mental health needs.
- To manage a defined caseload using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions and record all interventions.
- To provide clinical education and training.
- To provide dietetic input within the HDU Mental Health Team working as a member of the multi-professional team.
- To complete home visits and outreach work to enable safe and timely discharge.
- To be responsible for providing information to the Clinical Lead and the HDU Team Manager as needed.
